Ian and Alan in America on part business and part adventure met Carol and Bill in the late summer time heat of the Rogue Valley. They weather was stunningly beautiful as temperatures soared to 97 degrees, but the Rogue is forgiving and offers pools of cool water to dip into, raging rapids to invigorate, and endless water fighting opportunities for a full day whitewater experience.
Everyone tested his or her skills in the inflatable kayaks and also tried the ride in the Maravia 16 foot, self bailing raft. Carol and Bill took the rapids like experts and seemed to have an innate ability to get the biggest waves! Everyone played hard with the super soakers, even when the target was themselves! What a great show and a fantastic day with wonderful people. Thanks, guys!

We had a fabulous time! Thanks so much for the trip and for the photos on the blog! We'd highly recommend that even beginners take the kayaks, as the rapids are exhilarating but very do-able!
ReplyDeleteThanks again,
Bill and Carol
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the trip down the Rogue was definitely a highlight of our trip. Karen, Bill and Carol were great fun and kindly let us try the kayaks for a couple of the rapids - I agree, go for the kayaks, they're great fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks guys, and good luck in France Karen.
All the best, Ian and Alan
