Shannon, Poet, Ethan and Aaron celebrated Shannon's birthday on the
Rogue River. They were joined by Kathy and Alan of the United Kingdom, and Amanda and Jo from Monterey, California. As the temperatures topped out at 108 degrees, the best place to be was not only on the water, but in the water!
The birthday girl paddled the rapids in an inflatable kayak with grace and finesse. Amanda, Jo, Ethan, Aaron, and Poet shared river time in the inflatables also. Kathy and Alan were great company on the raft and shared adventure stories, history lessons, and water gun battles with the rest of the group.
Happy, cheerful laughter echoed through the canyons as this group of strangers soon became fast friends. Thank you all for sharing a bit of your summer time cheer here on a
