Grants Pass Rafting

We had four happy families traveling the Rogue River with us today. They all came because of the good news about Grants Pass and all of the natural beauty that can be found here. It was a perfectly blissful day and we hope each one of you will return for more paddling, riding, swimming, waving, and enjoying!

The Paddle Rafting Families from the United Kingdom and California!

The Water Warriors and Wave Riders from Southern California!

The Kayaking Family from the Coastal Town of Eureka! Thanks for a wonderful day everyone! We hope to see you back on the Rogue River soon.

The Heat is On!

Take it to the river when the heat is on! We had such a great time with the Strunk Family of Paddlers! They know how to have a fun day in the Southern Oregon heat!

As the temperatures soared over 100 degrees yesterday, the best place to be was on the Rogue River or swimming in the water.

Here is the crew at one of our favorite swimming holes at the end of Bailey Creek Canyon.

Mike, Ellika, Monica, and Chikako were powerful paddlers and had a great ride in Argo Falls Rapid.

The family high five at the end of a great run! Thanks for spending a day on the river with us. We look forward to seeing you again!

Rogue River Textures

The Rogue has many different moods that are revealed in the ever changing light on the canyon walls, on the water, and in the fresh, clear Oregon air! Here is a happy bunch of Kayakers playing in the eddies of Hellgate Canyon on a partly cloudy day.

The water is cool, the air temperatures are hot, and the rafting is terrific!

Hot Summer Days

The temperatures on the Rogue River are reaching over 100 degrees these days. This is not unusual for Southern Oregon as we have our own little micro climate here! The best way to enjoy the heat of the day is to spend it on the river or in the river! Here are a couple of our recent favorites keeping cool on a hot day.

Rogue River Rafting with Ben!

Ben came to Oregon from Illinois and brought his family along to enjoy some whitewater rafting. These folks were a blast! Ben decided to ride 'the bull'.

Where did Ben go?

Oops, there he is...sort of!

There were miles of smiles with this wonderful family on the Rogue River. Come back soon!

Rogue River Rafting Half Day Trip

What a amazing sight! This gorgeous bird soared above our heads and graced us with her beauty from wing tip to wing tip. This is an osprey and there is a healthy population of this fish-diving hawk on the Rogue River. We see them dive straight into the water at speeds up to 30 miles per hour to grab a fish that can weigh as much as 2 times the body weight of the osprey!

There is a lot of fishing going on as the adult birds are preparing the fledglings for flight. It won't be long before the young ones leave the nest. In the meantime, we will take advantage of the airshow!
