Rogue River Rafting Spring Snow

Rogue River RaftingIt is the end of Spring Break in Oregon and we have another snow storm! The Rogue Valley is attracts visitors to the area simply for the climate! Mother Nature is really putting on a show this year. As we watch the seasons change one into the next, there is a steady rhythm and cadence that takes place.

Oregon River RaftingThe osprey have returned, the Canada Geese are nesting, and the willows along the Rogue River Banks are bidding a spring time hello in their best dressed silver-blue-green colors. The river is quite a contrast to the softness of the springtime rising in the Rogue Valley. The swiftly moving water remembers the rich winter precipitation we have had this past winter.

Oregon Whitewater RaftingSnow pack in the mountains is deep, which promises healthy water flows through the hot days of the 2008 summer rafting season. This stored water will also provide the Rogue River Rapids extra energy and excitement in June, July and August. Enjoy the snow pictures as the Rogue shows off her moods veiled in white moving into Spring in the Rogue Valley.
